On 20th April, the Shandong High Speed Group Innovation Research Institute was inaugurated in Jinan. Ling Wen, vice governor of Shandong Province, attended the inauguration event, issued appointment letters for eight academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering including Qian Qihu, and delivered speeches.
During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the Group's annual average growth rate of scientific research expenditure exceeded 100%, and the investment in 2020 was RMB 1.267 billion, 20 times of the initial period of the "13th Five-Year Plan"; 128 high-level talents were introduced and trained (5 outstanding talents, 27 leading talents and 96 senior talents), and the scale of talents of the company ranks the top among provincial enterprises.
