On May 22nd, the first cold chain freight train of Qilu Eurasia Railway Express leaves for Moscow, Russia from the Qingdao Multimodal Transportation Center of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Zone for Local Economic and Trade Cooperation. It is the first cold chain freight train despatched since Shandong Hi-Speed Group started to coordinate the operation of international railway block train in Shandong province about two and half years ago. Loaded with frozen and fresh agricultural products such as broccoli and asparagus in 50 containers (100 TEUs), the total value of the cargo is about US$ 1 million. The train will get through the border via Manzhouli Port and will arrive in Moscow, Russia in about 15 days.
