On June 1, local time in Serbia, the first pile foundation of the Valjevo Expressway project, which undertaken by Shandong High Speed Group was successfully drilled, marking that the bridge and culvert part of the project has officially entered the substantive construction stage.
Since the start of construction in June 2020, to steadily promote the construction, the project has been scientifically organized, the construction plan and the allocation of various resources have been optimized, more labor and financial forces have been inputted, many difficulties like covid-19 and severe weather have been overcome. Up to now, 31.56% of the earthwork roadbed has been completed, and the pile foundation construction of the bridge and culvert has been started, for ensuring that the image progress meets the requirements of the proprietor.
The Serbian Valjevo Expressway project has a total length of 18.3 kilometers. It is not only a branch of the E763 highway but also an important part of Corridor 11. It has a design speed of 100 km/h and a two-way four-lane structure. After the completion of the project, it will greatly facilitate the nearby residents to travel and promote the economic development along the route.
