New project signed in Timor Leste

On November 29, 2021, local time, China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Croup, subsidiary of SDHS, won the bid for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Extension Transformer Bay of the Existing 150/20kV Liquiça Substation to Supply Power to Tibar Bay Port. The project, which is an important part of Timor-Leste's national grid, shall provide stable power to Tibar Port and local residents in western area of Timor Leste.

SDHS, the president unit of Chinese Enterprises Association in Timor Leste, set foot in the Timor Leste market back to 2000 as the first Chinese enterprise. Over the last two decades, SDHS has successively undertaken the World Bank water conservancy project, the Comoro power plant project, the Dili-Ainaro Road, as well as those China-aided projects including New Presidential Palace, New Office Building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, New Office Building of Ministry of Defense, the China-Timor Leste Friendship Primary School and a large number of livelihood projects, creating an excellent brand image and market reputation in the local market.
