Shandong Hi-Speed Group secured the 94th spot on China's Top 500 list for 2025, released on Sept 15, climbing 12 places from the previous year.
The ranking marks the 19th consecutive year the infrastructure giant has made the list, released by the China Enterprise Confederation on Sept 15.
Based in East China's Shandong province, the state-owned enterprise has focused on enhancing its core service capabilities and deepening internal reforms. These efforts have led to significant breakthroughs in infrastructure investment, construction, and operation.
The company reported record-breaking financial results for 2024. Operating revenue was 279.3 billion yuan ($39.3 billion), while total profit reached 17.8 billion yuan ($2.5 billion). Net profit stood at 13.5 billion yuan ($1.9 billion), continuing its steady upward trend.
With total assets exceeding 1.7 trillion yuan ($239 billion), the group currently ranks first among provincial enterprises in Shandong and leads its industry nationwide. It operates 9,070 kilometers of expressways and manages six listed companies.
Global recognition continues to grow, with the group listed on the Fortune Global 500 for four years and ranking 51st on the "ENR Top 250 Global International Contractors" list.
In the future, the company aims to improve its modern infrastructure services to better support regional economic growth and national modernization.
