Shandong Hi-Speed Group is deeply engaged in smart transportation, focusing on technology R&D, electromechanical engineering integration, digital operation and the development of an ETC-centered digital ecosystem. It promotes the integrated, high-quality development of transportation infrastructure networks and digital information networks.
The group has built an industry-leading ETC ecosystem, pioneering China's first ETC-based freight data service model. Its ETC business has ranked first nationally for consecutive years. It also pioneered online ETC issuance, with more than 32 million users, over 100 billion yuan ($14.1 billion) in annual transaction volume and more than 300,000 daily ETC parking transactions — accounting for one-seventh, a quarter, and one-third of the national total.
The group has developed advanced digital solutions, including China's first zero-carbon smart expressway cloud control platform, a smart transportation "industry brain", and the nation's first intelligent connected highway testing base.
