Shandong Hi-Speed Group (SDHS) offered swift support to Serbia as the country grappled with extreme weather conditions, including sustained low temperatures and heavy snowstorms.

The extreme weather severed power supplies in Valjevo, leaving 8,400 households without electricity. SDHS urgently dispatched a high-power generator to the disaster-stricken area, supporting basic infrastructure and local livelihoods.

The emergency assistance alleviated pressure on the local power grid. The Serbian Prime Minister highly praised the move, noting that SDHS was the first enterprise to respond to the government's call for aid.

Since entering the Serbian market 15 years ago, SDHS has deeply integrated into the local community. By building landmark projects like the Chinese Cultural Center in Belgrade, the E763 Expressway, and the Valjevo Expressway, the company has consistently contributed to local economic development. It also actively fulfills its corporate social responsibilities (CSR) by providing assistance during public emergencies, including pandemic and flood relief efforts, earning widespread acclaim from the local government and the public.

Looking ahead, the group plans to further deepen its engagement with all sectors of Serbian society. Through public welfare initiatives, it aims to strengthen the enduring friendship between China and Serbia.
